端午節掛艾草菖蒲不只避邪？4大功效一次介紹，還能插花佈置居家環境

對一般人來說，艾草菖蒲通常只有在端午節才會出現，不過這對搭擋其實功效多多，是中醫師的愛用品，也是中國早期用來防疫的植物，說端午節是最早的衛生防疫節日也不為過。除此之外，菖蒲艾草也能拿來插花，作為居家花藝擺飾，之後端午節過後不要再急著把艾草菖蒲丟掉啦！

艾草功效
艾草在古時候有避邪的作用，而現在我們延續過去的傳統，在端午節時會把艾草和菖蒲一起掛在門口，而艾草獨特的香氣也有驅除蚊蟲、淨化空氣的效果。

艾草的四大用途
● 入菜：把嫩葉切碎之後放進料理中，可以增添香氣
● 藥材：在泡澡時加入艾草，可以疏通氣血經絡
● 染色：把較老的葉子切斷打成汁，可以增加顏色香氣，屬於天然染料
● 驅蚊：把較老的葉子曬乾磨碎，燃燒後可以驅趕蚊蟲

不適合使用
容易長濕疹的人、孕婦、皮膚有傷口的人

菖蒲功效
常常和艾草一起出現的菖蒲，大多用於中藥藥材當中，只是在藥草學上是使用菖蒲的根部，而不是掛在門口的葉子。因為可以觀賞，也曾有「天下第一雅草」的美名。
